meet you. From Morogoro, the drive to Mikumi National Park takes
approximately two hours.

Meals included: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

DAY 3
DAY 3: GAME DRIVE IN MIKUMI AND DRIVE TO MOROGORO
After an early breakfast, you will return to Mikumi National Park for another game
drive with a picnic lunch. Having more time in the park allows your guide to

DAY 4
DAY 4: HIKE IN THE ULUGURU MOUNTAINS
After breakfast, your mountain guide will meet you at the hotel and take you to
the starting point of the hike.

The first part of the walk leads to Morningside and takes approximately two
and a half hours, covering around eight kilometres. After a short break, you
will continue for another two kilometres to Choma Waterfall. Here you have
time to rest, take photos and swim if conditions allow.

The return walk passes through Kireka village, where you will stop for lunch. Along the way, your guide can tell you more about village life, farming and the Uluguru Mountains. You will return to Morogoro later in the afternoon.

Meals included: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

DAY 5
DAY 5: DRIVE TO NYERERE AND AFTERNOON GAME DRIVE
After breakfast, your private driver-guide will pick you up from the hotel in
Morogoro. You will travel towards Nyerere National Park, with lunch arranged
during the journey.

After arriving, you will enter the national park for an afternoon game drive.
This gives you a first introduction to Nyerere’s varied landscapes and wildlife
before the two longer safari days that follow.

At the end of the game drive, you will continue to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Meals included: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

DAY 6
DAY 6: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE IN NYERERE NATIONAL PARK
After an early breakfast, you will leave the lodge with your private guide and a
picnic lunch for a full day in Nyerere National Park.

Your guide will plan the route according to recent wildlife movements, road
conditions and your interests. During the day, you might see elephants, giraffes,
buffaloes, antelopes, hippos, lions and many different bird species.

Because the safari vehicle is private for your group, you can spend more time at
interesting sightings and explore the park at your own pace. You will return to the lodge in the late afternoon for dinner.

Meals included: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

DAY 7
DAY 7: GAME DRIVE AND SUNSET BOAT SAFARI IN NYERERE NATIONAL PARK
After an early breakfast, you will return to Nyerere National Park with your private
guide and a picnic lunch. You can explore another part of the park or revisit an
area where interesting wildlife has recently been seen.

In the afternoon, you will leave the park and prepare for your private sunset
boat safari. At around 16:00, you will board the boat for a trip of approximately
two hours on the Rufiji River.

From the boat, you can look for hippos, crocodiles, waterbirds and other animals along the riverbanks while the landscape changes towards sunset. Afterwards, you will return to the lodge for dinner.

Meals included: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

DAY 8
DAY 8: DRIVE TO DAR ES SALAAM AND FERRY TO ZANZIBAR
After breakfast, you will check out and drive back to Dar es Salaam. Lunch will
be provided during the journey.

In Dar es Salaam, your guide will take you to the ferry terminal for the crossing
to Zanzibar. When you arrive, another driver will meet you at
the ferry terminal and transfer you to your beach hotel.

After checking in, the rest of the evening is free to relax.

You have five full days to enjoy Zanzibar at your own pace. No fixed activities are
planned, so you can relax at the beach or by the pool and decide how you
would like to spend each day.

If you would like to explore more of the island, we can add optional activities
such as a Stone Town tour, a spice farm visit, snorkelling or a boat trip. These
can be included when we personalise the itinerary or booked directly at the
hotel during your stay.

Meals included on all days: breakfast (can be adapted to your preferred meal plan).
DAY 14
DAY 14: DEPARTURE FROM ZANZIBAR
